Advice & Knowledge FAQs

Is this advice a substitute for a consultation?

No. It provides general patient information. Your skin, tattoo or cosmetic pigment, medical history and goals still require an individual assessment.

Which advice libraries are currently live?

The Tattoo Removal, Permanent Makeup Removal and Laser Hair Removal libraries are live. Each includes a complete cornerstone guide and detailed supporting patient guidance.

Which laser hair removal guides are available?

The laser hair removal library contains 25 published guides: one complete cornerstone guide plus detailed guidance covering suitability, sessions, preparation, aftercare, results, risks, treatment areas, hormones, technology, patch testing, medicines and treatment comparisons.

Why are some treatment topics marked “Coming soon”?

We only activate a treatment library after its cornerstone guide has been completed and reviewed. This prevents visitors from being sent to unfinished pages.

Does the permanent makeup library include eyeliner and lip blush?

Yes. It includes specialist guidance on permanent eyeliner removal safety and whether lip blush may be suitable for removal.

Can I request a patient-guide topic?

Yes. Questions that are useful to many clients may be developed into future guides.

Where are treatments available?

Advanced tattoo and permanent makeup removal are provided at Pulsar Chorley. Laser hair removal is available using advanced diode technology at Chorley, while suitable clients can access IPL hair reduction at Horwich. Check the relevant treatment page or contact the clinic for individual availability.
