Cooling for skin comfort
The cooled treatment handpiece helps manage skin comfort during treatment. Sensations vary with the area, hair density and individual sensitivity.
A plan tailored to you
We select the mode, settings and technique after reviewing your skin and hair. Treatment is adjusted to your response as the course progresses.
Laser targets pigment in suitable hair to heat the follicle and reduce future growth. White, grey, very pale blonde and some red hair may respond poorly or not at all. Your consultation helps establish realistic expectations.

Full-body prices are minimum estimates until coverage is agreed. A course is a treatment plan; complete hair removal or a fixed outcome cannot be guaranteed.

Your treatment plan, from the first visit
Hair grows in cycles, so one appointment cannot treat all suitable hairs at their most responsive stage. Repeated sessions and a review of your progress are part of the process.
Consultation
We review skin and hair, medical history, medication, hormonal influences and your goals. Areas and prices are agreed.
Patch test
We test a small area before the course and give you instructions on the observation period and next steps.
Your course
Appointments follow the recommended interval for your area and regrowth, with settings reviewed as you progress.
Review & top-ups
We assess remaining growth and discuss further sessions or maintenance where appropriate.
Realistic expectations
Is laser hair removal right for you?
We assess skin tones individually alongside hair colour, hair thickness, tanning and health history. Choosing appropriate treatment matters more than promising the same result for everyone.
Long-term reduction
Suitable hair may become less dense, finer and slower to regrow. We do not promise permanent removal of every hair.
Hormonal hair growth
PCOS, menopause and other hormonal influences can mean more sessions or ongoing maintenance, particularly on the face.
Scalp & shaving irritation
Suitable clients may choose scalp or beard-line treatment to reduce regrowth. Reducing suitable hair may also help repeated shaving irritation and ingrown hairs.
Before treatment: tell us about tanning, medication, recent procedures or irritated skin. Treatment may need to be postponed. We do not laser directly over tattoos, and we assess fine facial hair carefully before recommending treatment.

Before your appointment
- Follow the shaving instructions provided by the clinic.
- Avoid waxing, plucking, threading and epilating before and between appointments.
- Avoid tanning, sunbeds and fake tan on the treatment area.
- Tell us about medication, health changes and recent skin treatments.
- Arrive with clean skin as directed; mention tattoos in or near the area.
After treatment
- Temporary warmth, redness or follicular bumps can occur.
- Keep the area cool and avoid heat, friction and irritating products while sensitive.
- Follow your individual aftercare instructions and protect exposed skin from the sun.
- Shave only once the skin has settled; avoid removing hair from the root.
- Contact the clinic promptly about increasing pain, blistering, spreading redness or weeping.

What technology do you use?
We use the PermaICE Supreme diode laser at our Chorley clinic. Your practitioner selects the treatment approach following an assessment of your skin, hair and treatment area.
How much does laser hair removal cost?
Our standard course of 8 starts at £320 for one qualifying facial area. Small areas are £480, medium areas £680, large areas £920 and the full scalp £800. Full-body courses start at £2,400 with coverage agreed at consultation. Courses of 10 and 12 are also available.
Are prices per area?
Yes, unless a combination, full-scalp course or full-body package is specifically stated. Both underarms count as one small area. Upper lip and chin together are a small area. Each selected area and its boundary are agreed before treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
Eight treatments is our standard course, with courses of 10 or 12 also available. It is a starting treatment plan, not a promise that every client will finish in eight visits. Hair density, growth cycles, hormones, skin and response affect the number needed, and maintenance may be required.
How far apart are appointments?
Your practitioner recommends the interval for your treatment area and regrowth. Face and body areas may need different spacing. We review progress rather than scheduling every area to the same timetable.
Is it suitable for my skin tone?
We assess a range of skin tones individually. Hair colour and thickness, tanning, medication and skin history also matter. Consultation and a patch test establish whether treatment is appropriate for you.
Will it work on blonde, red, grey or white hair?
Laser targets pigment in hair. Dark, coarse hair generally provides a better target. White, grey, very pale blonde and some red hair may respond poorly or not at all. We assess this before recommending a course.
Is it permanent and does it hurt?
We describe the outcome as long-term hair reduction, not guaranteed permanent removal. You may feel warmth, tingling or a snapping sensation; comfort varies by area and hair density. Cooling and treatment adjustments help manage comfort.
Can I have treatment for PCOS or hormonal facial hair?
Treatment may help reduce suitable hair, but hormonal influences can cause ongoing growth and additional maintenance. We assess facial hair carefully, including whether very fine hair is suitable to treat.
Do you treat intimate areas and the scalp?
Brazilian, Hollywood and full-scalp pathways are available subject to suitability and agreed boundaries. Selected male intimate treatments require a consultation and written quotation, including confirmation of practitioner availability.
What are maintenance top-ups?
Top-ups are separate appointments after a completed course, following review. Listed rates are £60 for one qualifying facial area, £80 small, £110 medium, £150 large, £130 full scalp and from £350 full body. They are booked separately and are not Glow Club course options.
Can I spread the cost through Glow Club?
Eligible courses can be included in a Glow Club plan. Build your course on the Glow Club page to see the available payment terms and amounts. Maintenance top-ups are booked separately.

What should I do before treatment?
Follow the shaving instructions we give you. Avoid waxing, plucking, threading and epilating, which remove the target hair from the root. Avoid tanning and fake tan, and tell us about medication, health changes or recent procedures before your appointment.
