- Fading before replacement work

Powder Eyebrow Removal

- Colour reduction
- Preparation for a softer redesign

Shaded Eyebrow Removal
Treatment for unwanted gradient or shaded pigment, including heavy fronts, dark tails and pigment extending beyond the preferred outline.
- Overly dark shaded eyebrows
- Heavy fronts or tails
- Unwanted gradient pigment
- Selective fading where suitable

Combination Eyebrow Removal
Laser fading and removal for eyebrow tattoos combining microblading hair strokes with powder or shaded pigment.
- Mixed pigment techniques

- Shape correction
- Fading before new permanent makeup
Advanced technology at Chorley
Asclepion NanoStar Y Active Q-Switched Laser
Suitable Lancashire cases can be treated at our Chorley clinic using the German-engineered Asclepion NanoStar Y, an active Q-switched nanosecond laser. We assess the visible pigment and patch-test response before selecting the most appropriate wavelength and settings.
1064 nm Wavelength
Used for suitable black, dark brown and grey pigment components following professional assessment and patch testing.
532 nm Wavelength
Used for suitable warmer components such as red, orange and pink after the visible colour and skin response have been assessed.
Staged Wavelength Selection
The treatment approach can change as darker pigment reduces and previously hidden warmer components become visible.
Understanding permanent makeup pigment
Why Eyebrow Colour Can Change During Removal
Permanent makeup pigment may contain several colour components. As one component reduces, another can become more noticeable. This is why eyebrow tattoo removal is planned as a staged process rather than a fixed series of identical treatments.
Darker Pigment May Reduce First
Black, dark brown or grey components may respond before warmer underlying shades, making the eyebrow appear redder, warmer or lighter once the area settles.
- Colour change is assessed after healing
- Underlying pigment may become easier to identify
- The next treatment is selected for the visible colour
Warm Pigment Is Reassessed
Red, orange or pink tones may need a different wavelength and treatment approach. The skin must be allowed to heal before the next stage is decided.
- No rushed same-day assumptions
- Skin response is reviewed first
- Settings are adapted as pigment changes
Your treatment pathway
What Happens at Your Appointments?
1. Consultation
We discuss your pigment history, previous treatments, skin type and whether your goal is fading, correction or complete removal.
2. Patch Test
A small area is tested to assess pigment response and help select the most suitable clinic, wavelength and treatment settings.
3. Full Treatment
Both eyebrows are treated where suitable, using settings selected for the visible pigment and test response.
4. Healing Period
Temporary swelling, redness, whitening, tenderness or colour change may occur while the area settles.
5. Review
We reassess the remaining pigment after healing and decide whether a different wavelength or treatment approach is needed.
6. Continue to Your Goal
Treatment continues at suitable intervals until the pigment is sufficiently reduced for removal, correction or new eyebrow work.
