Why Pulsar

Laser Hair Removal Planned Around You

We do not use one setting or one schedule for every client. Your treatment plan is based on your skin, hair, medical history, treatment area and response.

Comfort-Conscious Treatment

Cooling, controlled energy delivery and clear communication help make sessions as manageable as possible.

Individual Treatment Planning

Settings and intervals are chosen according to skin tone, hair colour, density, area and recent sun exposure.

Progressive Hair Reduction

Courses are structured around the hair-growth cycle, with progress reviewed and the plan adjusted where appropriate.

Popular treatment areas

Laser Hair Removal for Face & Body

Every area is assessed before treatment. The exact area, course and pricing are confirmed clearly at consultation.

Common reasons clients book

Hair Growth, Ingrown Hairs & Hormonal Concerns

Laser hair removal can support different goals. We explain what is realistic before treatment begins.

PCOS-Related Hair Growth

Hormonal hair growth may require a longer course and maintenance. We set realistic expectations from the start.

Ingrown Hairs

Reducing repeated regrowth can help some clients experience fewer shaving-related bumps and ingrown hairs.

Shaving Irritation

Useful for clients who experience repeated redness, razor bumps, folliculitis or visible shadowing.

Maintenance Treatments

Occasional maintenance may be needed where hormones, medication or new growth influence long-term results.

Why the Consultation Matters

A safe and effective course begins with understanding your skin, hair, medical background and treatment goals.

1

Consultation

We discuss your goals, medical history, medication, hormones and previous hair-removal methods.

2

Assessment

We assess skin tone, hair colour, thickness, density, treatment area and recent sun exposure.

3

Patch Test & Plan

Where required, we complete a patch test and explain suitable settings, intervals and course length.

4

Treatment & Review

Progress is reviewed throughout the course and the plan is adjusted where appropriate.

Patient questions

Diode Laser Hair Removal FAQs

How many sessions will I need?

Many clients begin with a course of approximately 6–8 sessions. The interval and total number depend on the area, hair cycle, hormones and individual response.

Can diode laser hair removal be used on darker skin tones?

Suitability depends on the equipment, protocol, skin tone, recent sun exposure and individual assessment. Every client is assessed before treatment and settings are selected for safety.

Is laser hair removal pain free?

No laser can promise zero sensation. Most clients describe warmth, mild prickling or brief heat, with comfort varying according to the treatment area and hair density.

Can I attend after recent sun exposure?

Recent sun exposure or tanning must be disclosed. Treatment may need to be adjusted or postponed to reduce the risk of an adverse skin reaction.

Does laser work on every hair colour?

Laser hair removal relies on pigment within the hair. Grey, white and very light blonde hair usually does not contain enough melanin to respond effectively. Red hair can also respond poorly.

Is laser hair removal permanent?

Laser hair removal is best described as long-term hair reduction. Results vary and maintenance sessions may be required, particularly where hormones or medication influence growth.

Can laser hair removal help with ingrown hairs?

Reducing repeated hair growth can help some clients experience fewer shaving-related bumps and ingrown hairs. Individual results vary and the skin should be assessed before treatment.

Can clients with PCOS have laser hair removal?

Yes. Many clients with PCOS have laser hair removal, but hormonal hair growth may require a longer course and ongoing maintenance. We discuss realistic expectations during consultation.
